Crusades, Conferences, and Seminars

Reg preaching in Pennsylvania

We have seen the overpowering presence of the Holy Spirit in our Crusade and Conference ministry during this past year. God’s power in transforming lives in local church conferences and services has been a joyful thing to behold. It has brought new vitality to these churches with many members being transformed into growing contagious believers who now desire to share their faith.

Preaching in Florida

In March Reg had fruitful conferences in Florida which God blessed with many people responding to the invitation. The highlight of the tour was the Bible conference held at Haines Creek Baptist Church in Leesburg with Pastor Dr. Sean Wright. This Southern Baptist church in central Florida is reaching out to win the people of this area. It was a delight on the first day of the conference when many rededicated their lives to Jesus Christ. There were decisions at every service.

Dr. Wright writes: "Thank you for preaching during our Revival last week. It was wonderful to behold the blessings of God upon the conference. I myself was challenged to renew my vision for the church and continue in the ministry. May God bless you in your future ministries."

Another such blessing was received at the meetings held in Donovan's Park in Clearwater where Reg spoke to the residents of that community. His message was entitled "And Whose Side Is God On" as he challenged those present with the wonderful truth that God is both faithful and sufficient no matter what we may be called upon to go through. Once again we praise God for those who responded to the invitation. Reg will be returning this February to speak again at the Park during his Florida tour.

Reg and Eleanor with a few people from the congregation in Canonsburg

In the middle of May Reg traveled to Canonsburg to conduct a Masterful Christian Living Conference at the First Baptist Church with Dr. George Hall. It was a blessed week as spiritual commitments were made at each service. Reg enjoyed speaking at the Ladies Bible Study followed by a question and answer period. He was also invited to speak at the local Christian Academy. The conference was a highlight in the spring schedule of the church.

Ministering in Madison

In the middle of October Reg conducted a Bible conference at the United Baptist Church in Madison, Maine on the theme, "There’s A Christian Way to Pray." It was a fruitful series of meetings with decisions being made at each service. The highlight of the conference came at the Sunday morning service where the altar at the front of the church was filled with people who wanted to rededicate their lives to Christ in the area of prayer. Reg preached on the topic, "When the Church Prays, Something Happens." We praise the Lord for those who found Christ to be their Savior.

Reg and Ken Fernald

This was a busy time of preaching and teaching as Reg spoke seven times in three days. The Friday night meeting found Ken Fernald, New England's own Gospel singer, conducting a mini-concert with Reg preaching on the subject,"Withered Prayer Lives". On Saturday he spoke at the Men's Prayer Breakfast, an afternoon Pastor's conference, and after a delicious evening church supper, he preached a dynamic message on the theme, "Making Your Prayer Life Powerful". A joyful time was held by all when Reg gave an in-depth study at a combined Sunday School service on the theme, "The Believer and His Bible."

We give God all of the glory for what was accomplished during this weekend of special meetings. Richard Haynie, pastor of the church writes: "I wanted to thank you for your recent ministry in our church. It is a comfort to know that when you are in the pulpit, the Word is being preached. I know that hearts and lives were touched by the Holy Spirit. Thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord and His Word."
